BACKGROUND
The Three Rivers Lacrosse ShootOut brings together lacrosse players and teams from around the region to play others they may not typically play. The format is Jamboree as opposed to bracket. Good sportsmanship is the standard.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Before 8 April 2010, full refund minus $50 administrative fee for each entry cancelled.
8 April to 16 April 2010, a $125 administrative fee for each entry cancelled.
17 April 2010 and after, no refund.
BOYS

Saturday 9:30AM through 7:30PM.
Sunday 9:00AM through 3:15PM.
Four games guaranteed.

11 Boys High School teams (WA State DII V or DI JV, or your association’s equivalent)
10 Youth 7th/8th Grade teams
9 Youth 5th/6th Grade teams
1 Youth 3rd/4th Grade teams
Cost is $250. Registration is first come first serve. Only full payment guarantees your spot.

The on line registration process will include:
- Completing the Hold Harmless agreement (release of liability) for Kennewick Parks Department
- Completing the Hold Harmless agreement (release of liability) for Three Rivers Lacrosse Club
- Completing the Code of Conduct
If more teams are interested than available spots, a waitlist will be used. But you have to register and submit full payment. A full refund will be provided to those on the waitlist should a spot not open.
RULES:
NFHS/Boys Youth Lacrosse of Washington rules will prevail.
GAME FORMAT:
Each team is responsible to provide a timekeeper or scorekeeper for each of their games.
HIGH SCHOOL - Two 25 minute halves, running clock.
3 minute half time.
Clock is not stopped.
No horn substitutions.
No Time Outs
Penalty time will be 1.5 times normal to to reflect running time and make it more reflective of penalty’s intention. 30 sec = 45 sec, 1 min = 1 min 30 sec and so on.
YOUTH - Two 25 minute halves, running clock.
3 minute half time.

TIE GAMES - Games ending in ties will use the Braveheart format.
The first team to score three goals wins.
Each team fields a goalie and a single field player.
Field players change after each goal.
Officials may inspect field crosses before the tiebreaker begins.
Teams defend the same goal they defended in the second half.
Teams must use the goalies on the field at the end of regulation.
The field players face off at center.
Goalies must be behind the restraining line during the faceoff.
The goalies may not cross midfield.
There are no timeouts or substitutions permitted. If one player is injured and must be substituted, the other team may also have a sub.
